After completing nine
years of Religious Education, students may request the Sacrament of
Confirmation. Immediate preparation for the Sacrament is in compliance
with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Guidelines and Policies.
The program consists of six classes
based on suggested teachings, projects of Christian service, a retreat, and
a commitment to regular active participation in the Sunday Eucharist.
Students typically receive the
Sacrament in the Spring of their Sophomore year in high school. In
special cases, the Sacrament may be delayed until either the Junior or
Senior year.
Adult confirmations are done in the
Cluster. |
